I have taken honors and advanced placement courses at a private college preparatory high school. I then went off to study neurobiology and physiology at Purdue University, graduating this past May. To earn my degree from a prestigious school I had to take a plethora of STEM focused courses, including but not limited to: general biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry (I&II), physics (I&II), genetics, general chemistry, etc. Throughout my time at Purdue I would often help teach peers concepts they did not fully understand and with patience would find a way to help them grasp difficult concepts.
As a neuroscientist, I understand that everyone's brain works differently and therefore lessons should be tailored to an individual for maximum success!
