Rajah Patria SolimanQuezon City, Metro Manila, PhilippinesMaterials Engineer | University of the Philippines graduate | Math and Science Tutor
My love and understanding of math and sciences has paved the way for me to be a Materials Engineer at a top university, the University of the Philippines.
I finished 186 units in college: 21 units of Mathematics classes (algebra to calculus), 15 units of Physics (basic to modern physics), 23 units of Engineering, and 58 units of Materials Engineering.
I was chosen to be a math, physics, and research contestant where I have won several competitions and awards. I've written several scientific research papers with calculations in English during high school and college.
To me, math is both an exact and inexact science. There are various processes, solutions, and ways, but you will come up with the same correct answer. Different people may have different approaches, it can be easier and more efficient for them.
Although many say practice makes perfect, sometimes math is still hard for others. I understand this struggle. Learning new math lessons and techniques as a contestant is also hard. Eventually, I loved practicing my math skills to understand and familiarize myself more with my mentors.
This is also the reason why I decided to be an engineer. I've always wanted to create things, have an impact, make people's lives easier, and continuously pursue learning.
I believe math is easy when you teach it to be easy to understand. That's my goal for students here in Lesson Pal.
So, book a class with me. Let's practice and make math easier and more enjoyable together!
