I hold a Masters in Reading Education, a Masters in English Education, and a doctorate in Literature--American Literature and Literary Theory.
I have taught students in middle school, in high school, and at a university for over 40 years. I confer with students about their writing, literary analysis, critical thinking, and reading skills. I have a reputation for treating students fairly and setting reasonable expectations, which are adjusted as students improve. Looking toward retirement, I'd like to continue my passion for education and learning.
