Mohamed GibbrilCairo, Egypt“Experienced Genetics and Biology Tutor | Molecular Medicine Specialist | Inspiring Critical Thinker
I am highly qualified to teach genetics, backed by a combination of formal education, practical experience, and specialized teaching. I hold a Master’s in Molecular Medicine with a focus on genetics and cellular biology, where I have extensively studied the mechanisms of genetic inheritance, molecular genetics, and their applications in medicine. Additionally, I earned my MBBS from the University of Khartoum, which provided a solid foundation in biomedical sciences, including genetics.
In my career, I have taught genetics to high school and university students, making complex genetic concepts accessible through innovative teaching techniques. I founded ‘The Professor in Biology,’ an online platform where I’ve helped over 5,000 students grasp genetics fundamentals using personalized, interactive teaching methods. I also co-founded the STUDS initiative, which aims to support 1,000 displaced students in preparing for their exams, with a focus on making genetics education accessible to all.
My experience with the Sudan Genome Project and other scientific literacy initiatives has given me hands-on expertise in applying genetic principles in real-world research and clinical contexts. These experiences allow me to incorporate current genetic research into my teaching, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
I bring a deep commitment to nurturing students’ understanding of genetics, emphasizing critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications to prepare them for future scientific pursuits.
