In my country of origin, what English teachers do best is to enable their students to master their English Grammar. The majority of the students excel in Grammar only, although a small percentage would be able to develop a mastery of the totality of the language. Being a product of that educational system combined with my passion to become an expert in the English language in its entirety, since elementary school, I have already reached advanced level in English Grammar. In high school, I started to tutor students and teach them in it. I have the level of an ESL or ELL teacher.
During my university years at the Seminaire de Theologie Evangelique de Port-au-Prince (Haiti, 1 year), at the Free Faculty of Theological Studies and the University Paris-IV Sorbonne (respectively, Vaux-sur-Seine and Paris, France, for 5 years), I successfully challenged all the English courses and was able to conduct research both in English and French.
I firmly believe that students should choose me as their English Grammar tutor, because, in my two current positions which go back to 1992, I have been successfully tutoring and teaching that subject. I have convictions and confidence that I can do everything in my power to enable them to get a taste of, learn, practice, and develop a passion for English Grammar.
