My English Grammar experience as a student was an unpleasant one at best. In grade school and High School, it became a feared presence whenever it appeared in my English class. My relationship with Grammar and Usage changed later in life when my wife and I homeschooled our seven children. Later, using techniques from Elizabeth O'Brien's. "Grammar Revolution," I was able to help my students become at first comfortable, and then confident with Grammar and Usage. Now, what was once intimidating, has become a friend in walking through the crazy, wonderful world of the English language.
