I am a native English speaker, and received excellent instruction on the English language in a private school. I have done very well on writing assignments in college, and I am now in my last semester of finishing a Master of Science in Education with a TESOL specialization. While I have not gained experience teaching as of yet, I have taken master’s level courses such as language acquisition and development, second language curriculum development, and theories and methods of TESOL. I have significant experience learning a second language myself, so I can relate to ways of learning that resonate most.
