I studied and utilized electrical engineering academically for 7 years, from my freshman year of undergraduate through earning my Master's degree. As a physicist, chemist, and electrical engineer, electrical engineering was and continues to be a major part of my life.
After finishing my secondary education, I have continued to use electrical engineering on a regular basis as a professional science and technology innovator and consultant for nearly a decade. My firm utilizes electronics, system design, sensor systems, and control systems to develop innovative solutions to global problems, particularly in the energy sector.
I have a year of formal classroom teaching experience in circuits and systems and have experience teaching through online tutoring services. I am very familiar with online learning tools and the virtual classroom environment.
I believe that any student is fully capable of understanding and excelling with STEM concepts and applications, given sufficient support and time to learn. I desire to use online learning platforms to help students struggling in these areas to not only better understand these subjects and excel in their academics, but also to develop an appreciation for, and interest in, mathematics and science.
