I have worked and studied as a data scientist for 6 years. I recently graduated with my Master's in Data Science from The University of Pennsylvania, an ivy-league school with a prestigious data program. Most recently, I worked for a Fortune 100 company, leading data science projects that, among other things, helped them explain millions of dollars of variability in their profit and loss every month.
Additionally, I have several years of experience in Data Science education. I have served as an online Data Science tutor for the past 14 months, helping middle school and high school students of multiple skill levels complete full data science projects. I guide students through every stage of the process, from choosing a topic to developing code to writing a paper. I also have experience teaching higher-level students, and served both as a teaching assistant for a graduate-level Applied Machine Learning course at the University of Pennsylvania, and served as an official Data Science Mentor to incoming graduate students at the same institution.
Within the realm of data science, my areas of expertise include Python, SQL, machine learning (including deep learning), natural language processing, statistics, and experimental design.
