Hello! My name is Nina and I am a senior at Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. I have always been passionate about helping people learn about the college application process, filling out the FAFSA, and how to apply for scholarships. I am a first generation student and I remember learning how to do this stressful process with little resources as a high school student, and I want to ease some of this anxiety for other people looking to improve their education.
I am a music therapy student, so I also have experience with the vocal audition and interview process for music school. As a current college student, I have the ability to put myself in your shoes because I have recently experienced the difficult dynamic of applying to college. I have experience educating others about college access through my undergraduate years through on-campus jobs. In these jobs, I have worked with high school students, adults who are going back to school after many years, and adults who are applying for the first time. I hope to provide a space to learn about the important steps in applying to college, how to find scholarships and other financial aid, as well as educating about the different things to look for when choosing a college.
