I live in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where my parents decided to move from Chile where I was born. I have lived in Miami, Florida during my college and about 25 years of my adult life!! I am a linguist, tra... nslator, interpreter, and lover of languages, traveling, writing, and reading. Early on in my college career, I was told that I should be a teacher because I was good at it-I actually was studying to be an animal ecologist influenced by National Geographic magazine which I read since 3 years old!! So, I became a French and Spanish teacher and later on an Interpreter/Translator. At the end of 1999, I also became a TEFL teacher, that is, a teacher of English as a Second language. I have successfully taught in schools and universities in Miami and Guayaquil, Ecuador, and I have taught privately and tutored in places such as Hong Kong, the Philippines, Bangkok, and places in India.
