About
Hello! I'm Beth, a storyteller at heart, a creative, a poet, and a writing instructor. I am passionate about the art of crafting words—a compelling essay, a well-composed paper, a beautiful phrase. Th... ere is something truly lovely about landing on the perfect word for the perfect situation, and I am convinced that we all possess the propensity to do so, with a little help from those who have paved the way with time and experience.
Interested in plot and character development? Need some thoughts/edits/insight on that paper that's due tomorrow? Want to chat about plot holes in your latest work of fiction, or need another set of eyes on that project? I'm here for it and I'd love to link arms with you as you work towards your writing goals.
I bring twenty-two years of professional writing experience to the table, three published books through Penguin Random House, I actively teach and coach students of all ages and all abilities in the writing world, and I'd love to watch you succeed with your writing dreams.
When I'm not actively working to throw words against the page, I love beautiful food (making and eating it) with friends; I can often be found somewhere in the middle of a renovation project on my 100-year-old farmhouse, gardening, or spending time with my kids.read more
