My qualifications for tutoring English include: • Strong knowledge of English grammar and mechanics. I scored in the 99th percentile on grammar sections of standardized tests throughout my education. Having studied grammar rules intensively, I can help students improve their writing by identifying and correcting errors. • Experience teaching English. In high school, I tutored younger students part-time to help them improve their writing and reading comprehension. I developed lesson plans tailored to their skill levels and paced lessons appropriately based on their progress. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. I consistently earned high marks for my writing and public speaking throughout school. I can serve as a role model for students by demonstrating proper grammar, word choice, and expression in my speech and writing. • Patience and a positive attitude.
