I am first of all a historian who is dedicated to biblical values. I began to study the Bible from a historical point of view in college. I combined my love of history and interest in religion by writ... ing a doctoral thesis on French monks who wrote a regional history that was also a religious history. From them I learned an example of holding true to biblical principles while also being dedicated to historical truth, however unpleasant it may be. Since college my reading and writing have focused on looking at the entire Bible through the lens of verified historical knowledge. I have written two books on Bible studies and contributed articles to journals and books.
