I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood... Education in 2017. I later received my Masters of Education from the University of Missouri. I have spent the last 6 years teaching at an elementary school in the Bronx, in which I have taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade and 1st grade. I have successfully helped over 20+ students each year to meet grade level standards in mathematics and reading. I have also served as a tutor for students in the school that were struggling to make progress. I specialize in using phonics instruction to teach students how to decode words and read books at their appropriate level (I am currently receiving training in Orton-Gillingham, which is a program to help students struggling with reading or with Dyslexia to read on grade level).
