I learnt chess in 2016 at Makerere university Business school while pursuing my diploma in accounting and finance. The following year, I became the chess captain for the university team and I was off... ered a sports scholarship (chess) in my final year. I received another sports scholarship (chess) for my bachelors of commerce at makerere university. I became the female chess captain in my first year 2019/2020. In my second year, I was unopposed and became the deputy sports minister at the college ( college of business and management sciences) and also won the award for the sportswoman of the year 2020/2021 at makerere games union. I have won various medals and accolades in my chess career and officially represented Uganda in various tournaments . I am currently an active chess player, tutor, arbiter with a conditional woman candidate master title and FIDE arbiter title.
