I am a dedicated Special Education teacher with over 22 years of experience work... ing with students with moderate to severe special needs. I hold a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and a master’s degree in special education, supported by training in behavior intervention, standardized assessments, and adaptive teaching strategies. I have experience creating and implementing individualized education plans, using non-violent behavior management techniques, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to address each student’s unique needs. I have a passion for modifying lessons in English Language Arts (ELA), Science, and Math to make them accessible and meaningful for every learner. I also enjoy teaching general education students and helping foreign learners understand and speak Tagalog or Filipino. Whether teaching in person or online, I aim to create engaging and inclusive learning environments by using tools and strategies that suit each student’s needs.
