I have been an elementary school teacher since 2001 where I taught all subjects, but since 2012 I have taught 6th grade English Language Arts in an inner-city school in Massachusetts. I love to expo... se my students to new places and adventures through the diverse texts that we read in our classroom. Many of the texts expose my students to new places, interesting characters, and historical events. I also love to teach writing too. Whether it is a texted based essay and we become book detectives searching for evidence or writing a narrative that includes conflict, memorable characters and exotic settings, I love watching my students grow into talented writers!
