I graduated Cum Laude from Southern Connecticut State University with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Journalism. My 'mission statement,' so to say, is spreading my passion for reading and... writing to the next generation. I have experience in essay and creative writing. With an eye for grammatical errors and a knowledge of MLA, APA, and Chicago styles, I am able to teach students how to be mindful of grammar or citation mistakes. When doing peer reviews in college, I noticed both skills still seemed to be lacking, even in higher education. I hope to instruct students from middle school to college, so errors like this can be prevented in their writing. My knowledge also expands outside the realm of English.
