I have taught as a certified elementary school teacher for ten years as a 3rd, 2nd, and kindergarten teacher. I also spent a few years as a reading specialist, supporting elementary-aged students with... literacy deficiencies, including fiction and nonfiction writing skills. I worked with students of a wide variety of backgrounds such as English as a Second Language Learners and students with behavioral and special needs. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees in education with a literacy (reading and writing) focus. Teaching is my passion and what I've dedicated years of my life and education to.
