About
Hi there! I'm Julia! I've been teaching reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in K-12 schools and higher ed institutions for more than a decade.
I have taught at Alliance University, St. ... Peter's University, Bergen Community College, and etc. I earned my teaching certifications in English (7-12) and ESL (Pre-K-12). Also, I have earned bachelor of arts degrees in Spanish and English with a specialization in writing along with a master of arts degree in Intercultural Studies.
In my spare time, I love cooking, reading, and traveling.
I love writing poetry too. I'm a spoken word artist and I enjoy performing powerful speeches and poems that persuade, inform, entertain, encourage, and inspire.
My favorite quote is, "You’d better take that bull by the horns and ride it.” Life is always throwing some curve balls. Sometimes you have to hold on tight and persevere to succeed.
I'm looking forward to help you persevered and grow in your ability to speak English.
I can't wait to see you in class.read more
