I started playing drums at the young age of 3 years old. I started my first gig ... at a local church at 5 years old and played at that church and several others until I graduated from high school at 18. My mom was a pianist since 12 and also played at several churches, so playing drums pretty much came natural to me. Growing up I did have the chance to take a couple of drum lessons so I understand how the process works. Also during my middle & high school years I had the opportunity to play in percussion and on the drum line & was section leader for most of those years. I understand music theory and how to read music for different percussion instruments such as xylophones, timpani, Congo, snare and bass drums, quads, trap set, etc. Besides from drums I have also took piano lessons in my younger days and have an associate certificate in Audio Production from Full Sail University. read more
