About
Hi there! My name is Amy Richard and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a potential tutor. After 24 years of teaching experience, I have honed my skills in connecting with my students on a personal ... level. I believe that building strong relationships with my students is essential to their success, and it is one of my biggest strengths as a teacher. My sense of humor, ability to meet students where they are at, and empathy also help me connect with students in a meaningful way.
Originally from Maine, I have been fortunate enough to call Vermont my home for many years now. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time by the ocean with my dogs, traveling all around the US, and exploring exotic destinations like Spain, Greece, and Africa. Trying new foods is one of my favorite pastimes, and I love to share my culinary adventures with my students.
As a mother of a college sophomore, I understand the importance of education and how challenging it can be at times. I have been there for my own daughter throughout her academic journey, and I am ready to be there for other students who may need extra support. If you are looking for a tutor who is experienced, empathetic, and willing to go the extra mile for their students, I am here for you!read more
