I created fun and engaging programs for Girl Scouts from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I created progr... ams under the Life Skills and Entrepreneurship theme which included career exploration, creative arts, and leadership. I created programs that were in accordance to the learning progression and badge requirements according to age level. I ran both virtual and in-person events that were set with in the allotted budget.Through my virtual programs, I was able to reach Girl Scouts throughout the United States and the Girl Scouts Overseas program. I assured each girl had a fun and engaging time. To achieve this goal, I partnered with women professionals to share their passion with our Girl Scouts. I also created working documents and activities to help the girls fulfill Girl Scout badge requirements by age level.read more

I aided in strengthening the education department through assisting the Director of Education in edu... cation projects. I assisted in facilitating group tours, outreach events, and on-site events. I created learning materials which are developed to engage students, but was applied for visitors of all ages. I created games to help visitors better understand radiation. I educated visitors on the history of the Nevada Test Site, including beginning nuclear physics. I communicated complex historical and scientific ideas to a diverse set of visitors. I created social media content for the museum, in historical content relating the museum’s mission and general historical content. I wrote book and product reviews for the monthly newsletter. I assisted in applying activities during events. I assisted researchers in their historical queries. I coordinated with museums and outside organizations regarding events and projects about nuclear testing, radiation, and historical perspectives. I furthered my oral history project by interviewing narrators and further research.read more

My primary function was to assist the director of education in duties assigned. I assisted in online... and in person tours. I also assisted with community outreach events by giving activity demonstrations during an online tour. I assisted in planning activities and execution. I conducted independent research for an oral history project on the experiences from former Nevada Test Site workers. I communicated with potential narrators and planned the oral history project from writing a proposal to conducting oral history interviews. I have also written a book review and artifact article for the museum’s newsletter.read more
