Gabriella's love for music began at the age of five starting on the piano. Without knowing how to read music Gabriella taught herself by ear, playing music she often heard her mom play on the radio. T... hroughout grade school Gabriella fell in love with writing music. Gabriella started taking piano lessons at age 10, but later fell in love with the saxophone, making it her primary focus.
Today, you can find Gabriella actively gigging around the Denver area as co-founder of the band People In Between. Gabriella is also actively writing and performing her original music. Gabriella's music is currently being featured in the Chicago based film Ahyoka River. With experience in both classical and jazz performance Gabriella teaches lessons on saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano and voice. She has taught lessons for over five years and has helped her students win all state auditions, as well as prepared her students for acceptance into music conservatories. Gabriella's lessons are always tailored to meet every individual's needs. Many of Gabriella's former students have gone on to pursue a professional career in music. Gabriella has had primary instruction under Tom Myer, along with secondary instruction under Dr. J Michael-Weiss-Holmes, Dr. Geof Bradfield, Ernie Watts and Brad Goode. Gabriella has earned her bachelor's degree in saxophone performance from The University of Colorado at Boulder.read more
