From a young age, I have always loved music. I performed in a children's chorus, were part of competitions, and was so passionate I eventually went to school to become an Opera Singer. I was the kid, ... unlike my peers, who loved choir, and loved learning music. I have over 15 years of musical experience, performing and teaching. Throughout these 15 years, I've taught in group settings and individually styles. I believe music has a way of connecting us to each other, and to ourselves on a deeper level. I also think it helps us to foster an appreciation for the arts which are so important to our culture! Plus, when you can spout random facts about a composer, it just makes you a much more interesting person. :-) I graduated from Concordia College with a Bachelor's in Voice Performance and a Master's Degree from Northwestern in Voice & Opera.
