Hi my name is Elsa Martinez. I was born in Nashville, TN, but grew up and continue to live in Morristown, TN. I love to read, write, play soccer, watch anime, and crotch.
I love tutoring because I c... an help and share my passion for writing. In middle school and High school I helped tutor a lot of my Spanish speaking friends who had just recently moved into the country. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was glad to assist them in anyway I could.
My tutoring philosophy is that with enough determination and a little bit of help anything can be learned.
I am currently majoring in English and Spanish and will soon be graduating in December. I think what makes me "me" is that I'm writing a novel about eating disorders. I suffered from anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating but am thankful and glad to say I have been in recovery for 5 years. I am writing about eating disorders because many people don't know what's like to struggle with one. I want to give people a glimpse of what it is like to struggle with it on a daily basis. I want it to be an eye opener and help people understand so they help anyone they know who struggles with any of these disorders. My book is something I take great pride in and it's also something I love doing.read more
