I grew up in California state, although I am from Arizona. I finished my Arts in Music degree back on 2019, Since then I have been teaching music for a variety of public schools in the United States. ... I hold a TEFL and two TESOL certifications that allow me to teach English online for both a large group of students and for a more private setting (one-to one). I started teaching English for VIPKID on 2020 and Intervene K-12. Later I decided to start teaching English at my student's homes which allowed me a better interaction and an easier connection that in my opinion is difficult sometimes to makes while teaching online. Nevertheless, teaching English online is my passion, I love teaching, educating, instructing, and tutoring. It's amazing how similar those words are but to know how different they are while you are on the field! Teaching has been part of me since 2017. Hi, I'm David Aranda! I am a piano player and an ESL teacher. I have been teaching Piano since 2017, and English since January of 2020. These are my two passions in life, and my two hobbies as well. F... rom playing some Debussy, Chopin, Bach, and Haydn, to playing pop and rock and roll music from Taylor Swift, the Beatles, John Legend, Adele, and more songs like Dance Monkey, River flows in you, Imagine Dragons, and many more. I also enjoy and love teaching English to college students, and elementary students. I recently have two adults as students and I have also enjoyed teaching them too! I love going running, playing soccer, and basketball, going to the beach, drinking coffee and hanging out with friends! I believe that being an educator or a teacher is a serious deal. It is not for everyone, it is a call. Learning for the sake of learning should always be encouraged, but learning for the sake of achieving a goal adds a greater value, and a warming motivation to reach out to your dreams. Several of my students think of me as a patient, attentive, good listener, reliable, punctual, organized, and empathetic. One of the greatest values in my opinion is human dignity and I think that is really important for life as I implement that in my teaching too. Every student, every person has value and extreme worth; not because of what the person does but because of who that person is.
