I have taught students in grades K-12, mostly in English and Social Studies. However, I have also taught math extensively, as well as some science classes. I am also finishing up a certification in Orton Gillingham (reading and phonics), and I have a good amount of experience working with students with ADHD. I was born and raised in Florence, Alabama, but I lived in Colorado for several years after achieving my Master of Arts in Social Change degree from the Iliff School of The... ology. I additonally have a graduate certificate in grant writing, and I am working on some freelance grant writing part-time. I finished this certificate with a 3.9 GPA. I have taught and tutored for over eight years at charter and private schools, as well as education management companies.
