About
Nice to meet you. I'm Ashley, a rising college senior with an English major and creative writing minor who's pursuing a bachelor's degree. I'm proudly a student at the Virginia Commonwealth University... in Richmond, VA.
I've peer tutored my classmates since my freshman year of high school in literature, and I did the same regarding creative writing since my junior year of high school. What I enjoy about tutoring both subjects is seeing fellow students progress and share what they learned with me. Not everyone learns the same way, and thus, I plan to work with students in order to discover a tutoring method that is effective and comfortable for them.
Reading and writing literature is two of my favorite hobbies because both allow for much creativity. I feel proud when seeing how much creativity writers put into their works when I read them, and I feel the same way with my own. I want my students to have that same pride after our sessions together.read more
