Hi! My name is Alli and I'm originally from Nashville, Tennessee but I'm now pursuing a bachelor's and accelerated master's in Material Science Engineering at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. I di... d volunteer tutoring at my high school in English, Spanish, and Math (Pre-calculus and Geometry. I also volunteer tutor at my college in a program that partners with the local elementary school. In this, I work with individual students or small groups in math, social studies, and reading/writing. In working with students I aim to reach mastery of a subject and complete understanding over time by reviewing old topics while introducing new ones. If needed I can simply assist with homework questions or I can create lessons to teach subjects a student may be struggling with.
