I'm Graeme Wojtowicz, currently in my last year at Wheaton College in Norton MA, majoring in Hispanic Studies and minoring in cultural anthropology. Since the fall of last year I have been a WAM (Wheaton Athletic Mentor), almost as second in command... under the head coach of my track team. Each sports team has 2-4 of them, and we are responsible for helping first-year athletes get accustomed to college life, be it academic, social, athletic or anything else they need help with. We have scheduled meetings with them 5 times a semester to check in on how things are going, and collectively we as WAMs must organize campus-wide events to facilitate growth and bonding among peers.read more
